Sant'Agata nel Carmine church 360° virtual tour

This is a typical Baroque church located halfway between Piazza Vecchia and the Citadel.

First evidence of the church dates back to 1356. It was rebuilt twice: first in 1451 and then again in 1730 by architect Giovan Battista Caniana. Interior decoration is Baroque with paintings of

  • St. Albert the Carmelite (Sant 'Alberto degli Abati) by Andrea Previtali
  • Saint Andrew Avellino (Sant' Andrea Avellino), a work of Il Talpino (Enea Salmeggia)
