Azraq Wetland Reserve 360° virtual tour

Azraq Wetland Reserve is a natural reserve comprising pools and marshlands and is most reputable for being an oasis of about 300 species of resident and migratory birds. It was established in 1978 and occupies 12 square kilometres.

1. What to see

The best time to see wildlife here is between December and April and definitely not mid-August when our panoramic images were taken. If being unlucky to see only a few birds when following the 1.5 km long marsh trail, learn more about the animals in the visitor centre right at the entrance.

2. When to see

It was our second stop on a half-day trip from Amman to discover the desert castles and thus, we have no information if it could be open late in the afternoon.
